WHEATFIELD — Internal strife continued in Town Hall last week as Constable Craig M. Schultz, claiming he’s been frozen out of assignments for political reasons, sued the town and Chief Constable Robin R. Zastrow for at least $4 million.
Copper thief promised probation by judge
LOCKPORT—A man charged in connection with the January theft of $50,000 worth of copper and other metal parts from a Wheatfield shopping mall was promised probation Friday, as State Supreme Court Justice Richard C. Kloch Sr. departed from his policy of incarceration for all copper thieves.
Westby’s Pub and Eatery, at the site of the former J.T. Wheatfield’s, left reviewer Mike Kurilovitch and family much less than pleased with the food in two visits to the establishment.
