The Erie County Sheriff's Office is putting out a warning to Bills fans about parking illegally in handicapped parking spaces.
Deputies will be using a mobile computer to track whether an individual has authorization to use a handicapped parking tag.
More than 400 improper handicapped parking permits have been confiscated over the past 10 years at Ralph Wilson Stadium, including a couple dozen during last season.
Violators face a fine of $50 to $75, plus a $30 surcharge.
"Please respect the rights of the disabled and do not park in those designated areas," Sheriff Tim Howard said in a statement.
Howard is planning a news conference with Frank Cammara, the director of the Erie County Office for the Disabled, at 11 a.m. Sunday at the stadium to raise awareness about the issue.
