A Franklinville man was arrested Thursday and charged with assaulting and robbing the disabled Buffalo woman he had been visiting, police announced.
Robert Floyd, 58, of Pigeon Hill Road, was arrested by Detective Jacqueline Sullivan about 3:15 p.m. and charged with third-degree assault, fourth degree grand larceny and harassment.
Police said he took almost $3000 worth of jewelry from the woman he had been visiting. He allegedly grabbedg the woman by her neck and causing her to hit her head on a door frame as they argued, according to a police report.
