OLAF FUB SEZ: According to Chinese philosopher and writer Confucius, believed by some to be born on this date in 551 B.C., “By three methods we may learn wisdom: first, by reflection, which is noblest; second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest.”

How Sweet It Is?
It’s supposed to be golden
When you get olden
So how come your
Body starts to fail
And your mind forgets
Many a detail?
It makes you
Want to wail,
“What the hail!”
Doctors and pharmacists
Will advise
All sorts of stuff,
But first, let’s face it,
Getting old is rough.
So we put on
A happy face,
All aches and pains
We erase
Life, even olden,
Is still a wonder,
Better than being
Six feet under.
