SOLE SALVATION – Aside from Puss in Boots, cats don’t usually wear shoes. But Ten Lives Club, the cat rescue and adoption group, could use some. It has teamed with a shoe recycling program for a fundraiser called “A Shoe In for the Cats.” Men’s, women’s and children’s shoes in all shapes and sizes are welcome, but no winter boots, ski boots, roller skates or ice skates.
The shoes can be dropped off at the Ten Lives Club shelter at 5646 Maelou Drive, off Camp Road near Scranton Road in Hamburg, or at the Tabbytown adoption site in the McKinley Mall. For info, call 646-5577.
